King Kong is 3hr 30mins long... i'll wait for the dvd, i just don't see a movie about a gorilla in love with some chick being all that good or with 3hrs+ of my time

Lets put it in perspective.

The Godfather was also 3 hrs long; LOTR: Return of the King was 3 hrs and 20 minutes; Shawshank Redemption was 2 and a half hours; Schindler's List 3 hrs and 15 minutes; Pulp Fiction was 2 and a half hours long; Goodfellas was 2 and a half hours; Saving Private Ryan almost 3 hrs long; Braveheart was 3 hours long; Gladiator was 2 and a half hours long........the list of great long movies goes on and on.

Lets hope we can add King Kong to that list of great movies.
