Looking for an incantation or some sort of voodoo shit

I swear I have got the worst fucking luck possible.

I am so tired of this shit.

Someone once told me I have bad luck because of a state of mind that perpetuates it. I think there may be some truth to this, but I'm not sure.

Just start doing good things for yourself and for other people and it will all change. Trust me.

If you continue believing it's bad luck - it just continues to go bad. Take a hard look at your life - find the mistakes - change today. Don't look back unless it's to reminisce or to remember where you came from. If you focus on today and working to make it better, you plant the seed for tomorrow to be good - if you waste today thinking about yesterday's hardships, tomorrow will just be another day to look behind another wasted day. Plant your seeds & make it a better day.

**Been there and done that and sometimes I fall back in the pattern if I don't focus on where I have to go and where I want to be tomorrow!**

Good Luck! You can do it

Thanks for the words bro, but I'm a pretty generous person in general.

The thing is it kind of runs in the family, believe it or not.

It's like some sort of Ben Stiller comedy lol

That's certainly an interesting philosophy - I *do* focus on the past a lot. Really, though, it's because that's the only way I know how to sort things out...

Yup - I do the same, the thing is that you kinds get lost in it and you go over that 'past' so often that you kinda made a path for your future behaviour. Need to think where the mistakes were and say 'this is what I should have done', see the path - envision it, cuz the next time you're faced with the same crossroad, the bad one flashes back with warning signs all over it and the right path will be blaring in white saying, 'this is it - this is the way you decided it should go this time'

You can't change the past so no reason to dwell in it - focus on 'NOW' cuz this you have control over. It starts small but then you'll see things falling into place more and more and then you'll think - DAMN why didn,t I think of this sooner.

Ack, by the time I learn that I'll be 40. That's too much work. I'm just going to go work at MikiD's

j/k lol - so you really know what I'm talking about? Like an impossible chain of events that you have *no* control over barage you at certain points and keeps you from growing?

Because, from what you're saying; bad luck is a result of poor choices..

Depending on the chain of events - people that die, accidents, natural disasters - those things you can't prevent nor do you have control over.

Getting good life insurance, good accident/medical insurance or natural disaster coverage, that you do have control over though.

I've had periods in my life where everything & I mean everything went bad - there was just no getting out of it and with everything I did, I always did it thinking 'it's going to go bad'. Well when I start thinking harder and make my decisions levelheaded and sure of what I'm doing - things go better. But that's me - I don't know what happened to you but I'm telling you, try thinking positive and thinking of now & plant a seed to make tomorrow better.
