My wife and I are looking in to hiring a nanny. Anyone know a good site to do a background check on someone?

Actually depending what state you live in (if your in the US) your local police department might be able to help you out with the criminal history aspects of the background check, since it's a nanny you're hiring. Then pull up a credit report from myfico.com

All require her written permission of course.

Just get the hottest one you can find. If she has a criminal background, that just means she is wild in bed. If she doesn't, that means you'll need to show her the wild side.

City Police department and County Sheriff's department. You should also check your County Common Pleas Court (Civil and Criminal) and your Municipal Court (Civil and Criminal/Traffic).

Sometimes (with the courts) you can do the search yourself online.
