Photographers: Do you use the 580EX?
Just got one today. Man I've been playing with it for the past couple hours and I'm having one hell of a time figuring it out. For the life of me I can't get the AF assist light to come on in manual mode. So I'm sitting in the dark, with my subject, and the damn camera won't focus without it.
The manual doesn't say how to turn it on. Crap. |

Fixed it. Apparently you have to have it in One Shot mode in order to get the AF assist light to come on.
