VanGundy is a great coach, but he was lost out there.

Given this years team has some chemistry and idenity problems, Pat Riley put this team together with some kind of idea, so lets see if he can mesh them the way he envisioned.

This is good news for Heat Fans. Not a bad thing.

VanGundy is a great coach, and will be employed elsewhere no problem.

Any NBA picks for the evening? Looks light a tough night to me, nothing pops out.

The spread for monday night football is too broad for my liking...

I put a small sprinke of cash over the Bucks. Bought some points and made it +6

Also I think I may sprinkle some change (like a grand or two) over the Pistons tonight after buying some points.

All in all its a tough NBA night.

Nothing I would really reconmend.

Went to the firing range yesterday and popped off 50 rounds or so from an AR-16 A2 (the civilian version of the M-16 A2 used by the military)

Damn i didnt realize how expensive ammo was... new appreciation for all the rounds i blew through fucking around at ranges in the military.

Man, your Celtics and My Blazers. We have to be true fans to still love em.

May God bless you and your team and develop them in the next few years into a winning team and something you can be proud of.

I pray that someday we meet in the Finals.

Only then will our lives be complete.

Holy crap, i did not see this coming. I like VanGundy and not thrilled to hear he is leaving, however who better to step back into action than Riley.

Nobody can wear a suit like Pat

Really?? I love sigs.. They are great guns..

But I have small hands, I dont have one of the bigger cooler looking sig 9mm's.. I have a Sig P239. Its small. But it's very very very accurate. For me anyhow.

I have that and a Glock 23C. ITs the 40cal.

I love them both.

The thing is the Indoor Range I belonged to, let you rent and test and handle all guns out there. So I shot a lot of 9mm's and the like.

I was able to really narrow it down to what fit my hand well. And the smaller guns did. Mainly the SIG P239, and Glock 23.

I also liked the HK USP.. But the three guns are just way too simialar to go buy one.

Yep sad to see VanGundy go.

ITs gunna be tough for Riley to step in. Some of the Fans may be bitter.
Some of the fans will resent Riley thinking he pushed VanGundy away.

May be true. But that is Basketball.

Vangundy is a great coach. He learned from the Best.. From Riley.

Yeah we were shooting off the 40 cal - I am normally a big fan of sig's (they're made right here in new england).

I'm a huge fan of 9cal sigs... I can usually stay accurate with them up to about 25 yards.

But like i said, nothing like shooting an assult rifle ;-) Just sad the range isnt bigger, it's more fun to shoot it at 300-500 yards anything else is like fish in a barrel.

I suppose they could keep it that way. Think they would renegotiate his contract first?? Otherwise its a big payroll jump to just add another coach on like riley.

Poor Snaq O'Meal. He's gonna have to drag that fat ass of his every workout. Riles is known for being slave driver of a coach, specially in practice.

Oh, and honk if you didn't see Riley's being a coach this year for the Heat. It was just a matter of time..poor Van Gundy.

Hey man, next time you make it to AZ, hit me up and I'll take you to some great shooting spots out here. I live on the outskirts of Phoenix and I have wide open desert across the street. We go out there all the time and blow up shit. We usually bring stuff to fire on and then clean up our mess.

I got a few pistols ... Sig P220, Colt45, AR-15, German FN, Isreali Galil and of couse my favorite ... 12 gauge shotgun. I don't know why, but I really love my shotgun. Its cheap to fire and gives one hell of a kick.

By the way ... you like the Suns tonight. I think they are going to win by 20 or more.

Exactly but I guess with our recent losing streak it was time to drop the hammer.

Hopefully now that Riley's back as well as Shaq we'll start winning games again.
