And I know this for a fact because this is an example based on information I know first hand.

I am sooooooooo tired of that crap that it takes a whole hell of a lot to get me to promote a new program. I usually stick with most of the same sponsors after I realize they treat me good and give me the support that I need without whining about it.

The only programs that do me right are realitycash , flashcash, and pussycash

Tell me what you need and I will do my best. Anything for a chica :winkwink:

I've yet to have an issue like this. Perhaps I'm just lucky.

First of all I have to like the site and believe it is not too saturated and it will sell.

Then I join the program and I promote it if I find frequently updated content.

That's pretty much it, but higher payouts for console free also help.

:)

I always send a little to see what type of conversions to expect - then I stay if they offer free-hosted sites (not galleries) and the more they have the more traffic I will send. Espcially if they dont just mass generate templated hosted free sites - that will get me to stop using a program faster than almost anything else.

Funny that none of you have mentioned the various contests and giveaways, which I know for a fact in Dee's case for example have worked extremely well.

SHOW YOUR GREED PEOPLE, Roger obviously wants honesty in this thread. Things like "exclusive content" and "hosted galleries" are obvious and common. What ISN'T common that attracts you, that's the Q.

After Shock Media 12-12-2005 04:20 PM

Bribe me before hand.

Ok in all seriousness.
I am often very shy of sponsors that offer to much easy stuff. I want to join a program and see more content zips than free hosted galleries. I want to see them pushing affiliates to actually work and not just dump a text list, import them into a script and dilute it even more. I want them to make you earn free hosting instead of giving away to anyone that asks. I do not want to see prepared keyword lists, pre built templates and so on. Odds are if you are heavy into doing everything for the affiliates I will not push it. I then suggest you go to bribing me before hand and paying me enough each month regardless of the traffic numbers so that I can have an outsourcer on it 24/7.

I guess my only comment to those that aren't always experimenting with new programs is that you run the high risk of becoming a dinosaur over time. Things change and everyone needs to be reinventing themselves or working with companies that are doing that on a regular basis. There's a lot of bullshit on the boards. The reality for most is that they are working harder than ever before to earn the same money or less than they used to.

I'm not saying that people should necessarily dilute or change out where all of their traffic goes. I am saying that the smartest of webmasters are on top of their game, always planning ahead and making an investment into their future success.

Seems to be worth saying here, especially, that Roger's program seems to be fresh and innovating and worth a serious look or experimentation.

:)

1) word of mouth from trusted friend
2) non-nude custom join pages
3) landing pages on occasion for dirty dirty aggressive promotional techniques

see 1-3, repeat repeat repeat

Wow I really appreciate your post your always a class act :thumbsup

When I post I'm trying to reach the lerkers more than anything just about everyone checks the boards but not everyone posts.

We are very new only 5 months old but we have 9 years of experience converting traffic behind the new program. We are continuously tweaking things daily to make sure you convert.

I am not hurting for business in anyway and thanks to those who are supporting and doing biz with us now we really do appreciate it.
I just always strive to do better, its in my blood! I'm always looking for new thing to do otherwise I get burnt out on the same old shit.

I always deal with webamsters 1 on 1 because its a biz relationship that requires continues nurturing for the best results.

Roger,

You might want to get someone to code you up a decent gallery export tool. You're missing the boat in that department. I'm sure a good bit of prospective webmasters are signing up planning to export some gals with descriptions easily into their TGP script and finding out it's not possible and moving on.

should be able to choose the separator: comma, pipe or tab
should be able to export gals for 1 or all sites as well as movie gals, picture gals, or both
should be able to choose the order of information in each field, most common being:
gallery url
gallery description
number of pics or movies
category
thumb url

you get that whipped up and i guarantee you will see more traffic flowing from more sponsors,

Cheers,
BV

Wow what a great post I'm going to look into it first thing tomorrow. is there something we can buy off the shelf right now?

it took alot to get us off the ground with all the bells and whistles and now we want to make things super simple and easy so going back and upgrading everything during the holidays when its a little slow B2B

I really appreciate the post this is the exact type of feedback I'm looking for

Brad Mitchell 12-16-2005 12:18 AM

Emailing.. miscellaneous question/suggestion!

I very rarely sign up for big programs as they have a lot of content out there already. I don't want to be like everyone else so for me it is through hours of research and literaly stumbling across a hidden jewel that makes me happy.

exclusive and semi.

It should be in next week they say :Oh crap if so the new year will be popping

BV 12-16-2005 12:29 AM

I'm not sure if anything is available off the shelf, if you use executive stats i would start by hitting them up.

I can tell you that all the NATS programs have this in their admin so I would think it should be part of ES's affiliate script as well.

We coded our own back end and our tool looks like this: http://www.bikinivoyeur.com/galexporter.gif

There have been a few threads here on this topic with more info that I may have missed in case you want to research further and more deeply.

I'd start with Executive Stats though and see what they recommend.

There is no doubt that a good gallery export tool is important.

MPA3 works like this:

Under webmaster section>links & tools> hosted gallery>click to generate the desired links>a link exporter appears at the bottom.

The links export tool has the ability to select thumbs in the format 88x88, 90x120, 120x90, 100x100, 110x150.

:2 cents:
