FireFox Engine is Netscape right? Incompatibility Issues..

Worked on it a while ago and put it on hold, pulls up fine in IE, Maxthon (which I use), and Netscape.. however in Firefox there are problems with the css, and this is fairly common. I am seeing this in alot of my designs I have been doing in css lately. I just noticed today hwoever that it works fine in Netscape, just not Fire Fox... I thought Fire Fox used Netscape as the engine ? Any designers have any suggestions for this problem ? Is it typical to have to recode entire layouts due to Fire Fox ? |

why would firefox use netscape? netscape isnt open source, and they've got too much competition with microsoft to sell/lease their browsers backbone like that

your CSS is incorrect then. FF goes by w3c standards. IE makes up their own rules
