want something small with a line out that i can take with me from the office to the car, etc...

I've had it forever and between Sirius and XM, Sirius is superior.
It's mostly a pure satellite signal unlike XM which uses a lot of ground repeaters to maintain signal so if you go under a gas station overhang you may lose signal. The programming is far better and of course you'll get Howard Stern as long as you're not in Canada.
