I really wanted one until I read the reviews and talked to people who own them. I guess they aren't that great. I don't know though. What do you guys think?

My uncle used to own a Dyson, and they really are as good as they say they are. But they're not the best. He recently bought a kirby. Ridiculously expensive, but it's simply incredible just how well they will clean a carpet. Awesome if you have any kind of dust allergies, etc. I do, but there's no way i'm shelling out a few thousand bucks on a vacuum cleaner. I think i'll just borrow his from time to time. ;)

Yeah, I have a purple Dyson... I used it yesterday (I rarely do the house cleaning myself lol) and I was like "This thing sucks!" my mom told me its working, they're just different than other vacuums because the small stuff spins on top first before the big stuff. *SHRuGS* It seemed to take longer to pick up stuff.

I got the Full Gear version my place back in Cleveland. That vacuum is the bomb. I have 2 big dogs and they bring in all kinds of a mess. Best vacuum I've ever had. Got a maid for my house in Arizona .. cheaper workers here.
