i was skeptical of the video ipod till i got my hands on one and got to try it out myself. Its impressive. Still not sure if I want to get one, or buy a nice phone with lots of storage and video playback. I dont think theres anything out there that can compare to HD space of an Ipod but theres gotta be something that will suffice.

How old are you? You sound like a 12 year old fan boy arguing over which video game system is better and why.

Watching movies on the PSP is impractical...its big, and bulky. Its made for video games first and movies second. Sony should have took designing cues from Nintendo and there Game Boy Advanced 1 vs the Game Boy Advanced 2.

IPod's battery life is alot longer than 1 to 2 hours for video viewing. Apple promises up to 20....so you can expect at least 7-10 realistically.

PSP is nice but mine is collecting dust after a month or two of novelty. Its just not convenient enough to be a movie watching machine.

i got it because i wanted to set it up in my car...this is the natural progression from cds and i have been looking forward to it for a while, i have a bad habit of scratching my cds and you have to deal with locating/organizing/burning the cds...to think that i can have 2k+ of songs at my fingertips while driving is very nice feeling

problem is that the video ipod is a 5th generation ipod and they dont yet have a version of itrip (radio transmitter) for that model, i know that they have ipod decks and you can get it installed into your car and such, but i am expecting to trade my car out within the next 6 mo

corvette - Im using mine with the Belkin Tunecast II Mobile - works great - the transmission is good in the lower ranges and fantastic in the top frequencies - its a good deal for less than $50 if you dont want to hardwire

i went to the ipod store to buy the 60 gig one because you can run a cable to your tv and play shows you download on the tv, but he said it only plays mov and mpeg4 files. most stuff you download is avi.

cant you just buy some kind of fm modulator plugs to use it in a car? i was planning on doing this if i buy an ipod. does anyone know?
