Appart from one or two experts in this thread that say the opposite, the consensus here is that he was speeding. You can't just go flat out and expect everyone to see you and get out of your way, or expect drivers to properly judge the distance you are from them based on the speed you're travelling when you're just a small dot in the distance. That's not defensive riding, that's dumb riding. If the biker got out of this alive, and the law says you have right of passage in a situation like this even if you're going at 1000mph (even thou you're breaking the speed limit x15) more power to him and he can fuck up the driver in court. But I bet he learned a big lesson. |
That sucks big time... I hope he had good medical insurance, lived, and hired a mean-assed lawyer.

I'm so glad my accident was nothing like that, fucking brutal to say the least, even though the bike does look like he's going too fast for a rural area, the car is clearly at fault. |
lol that was crazy
|
oh come on... the bike is not that fast. It LOOKS fast because you see it inside a "cam box" and everything else is static or very slow due to the car turning left. Actually, the bike is a bit over the limit if it's residential, like most drivers do on a daily basis.
And he's not even over the limit if it was a 70kmh zone... I don't see many homes on the other side of the street. |
It didnt hurt that bad, I am fine.
Thanks for those that are concerned. I was speeding, I think only 40MPH over the speed limit doing some 65MPH. |
I always ride like Im in a video game and everybody is looking to kill me ... takes the fun out of it a bit, but at least im still alive.
