They offer dedicated hosting (400GB/month) for $100/month. Is this for real? I'm looking into paid hosting and this price seems to blow everything else away. What do you guys think?

Yeah its a good deal, they also have a number of lines coming in from different providers, I had a server with em about 6 months ago, I didnt have any problems... They have Compaq Servers now that you can get with a 10mb connection now for a couple hundred a month...

Good and reliable. Make 110% sure you have good guys at yuor end who know *everything* about running your own. Rackshack gives virtually zero support. That's the trade-off.

I've got some sites on one of their servers. It's working fine, but as mentioned, make sure you know a tech head. The only help they offered was to transfer all of our porn sites, guess the sales rep had a hard-on.

Hmm, considering the fact that this will be my first paid-hosting experience, I would prefer to have a host that has a strong tech. support team. I am so far, most impressed by Candid Hosting.
