It's bEstiality, and regardless of your law degree, you obviously don't know the law in all 50 US states. As to Visa, you probably should be aware that to the average Joe, like a guy who works at Visa, they don't care what you are doing, it's all porn. |

Maybe the processors could have done something about it before it got to this point. I'm not trying to take a moral highground on the issue. I just think I'd rather see the industry try and clean up its own mess, so the wrong people don't do it for us. |

You know something Brujah? The people in this industry can't do anything together.
99% of them are stealing from 99% of the rest, the ones that aren't are too busy cheating on their wives and lying to their associates and friends about what they *REALLY* do in their businesses, that it's one big clusterfuck. You can talk all you want to about how it's a little tiny percentage, how only the processors etc are wrong, but you know what? You are wrong. The people that cry the loudest are usually the ones either not making any money or doing something just as shady but trying to keep it from being noticed. Strike a nerve with me? No. I don't care a whit about bestiality, whether it stays or goes. The only thing that bothers me is that Visa is deciding to become the dictator of incomes. You think it will stop at bestiality? Better make sure you don't rely on any revenue from your fetish sites, since I'd be willing to bet that sooner or later they are going to be imcompatible with Visa's image. |

So now that we've already gone this far, we can only wonder whats next. How far will this go? What alternatives will there be left if VISA pulls out from more fetishes? Dialers, tokens, paypal, checking account debit? |
Does this mean CCBill wont process for those hairy women sites where they are basically animals?
|
Hey, even I, working for a cc processor, has been telling people for months to start putting their eggs in different baskets.
If you have one cc processor, make sure you have a backup. If you don't take checks, now's the time to start. If you aren't using dialers or web900 or Paypal, then maybe it wouldn't hurt to look into getting setup. Sort your traffic out based on the best way for them to pay you and it stick, and go that route. We're going to start accepting both a Euro and an Asian debit/charge payment very shortly. We're also going to have to change the way we scrub Mastercard -- eliminate more countries-- as well, since MC is putting the smackdown on cb's... It's not just the processors who should be looking for ways to spread the payments in, it's everyone who owns a web site if you ask me. I don't particularly see that its beastie or the word lolita that set Visa off -- my guess is someone there got a case of the Amex -- not enough money for the chargebacks for those sites. Visa's been making third party report chargebacks *by url* for a few months now, they can take a close look at what's good and what's not. I'd expect that celebs, certain fetishes, and certain companies will be the next ones on the hit list. |
Sucks to be SilverCash, their two farm sites were probably the most popular ones in their program.
I can't say I'll miss that content on the net, I hope it completely dissapears. However, I am sad for some of the nice webmasters that I've met who peddle such wares and just lost their living. These people will actually have to pony up now and BUY content - WHAT A CONCEPT. The only people that I know who have produced or paid for concent are the actual owners of Bestiality/Beastiality.COM. I guess we'll see if they can compete legitimately and reinvent themselves. Many of them are in fact just off-centered business people, not animal fucking enthusiasts. Humm I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Bestiality and CP are logical choices, despite the fact that I disagree with any censorship whatsoever. Will it be fisting or pissing or shitting or bondage or pain or.... I guess we'll have to wait for the next chapter to be written. Maybe they'll just end recurring billing, that'd sure be interesting. Brad |
I guess it will be interesting to see if the processors on those fake farm sites drop those sites or not.

Hey KimmyKim :) Legit question here.... I have an amateur girl site and was just about to start using photos of my pets.... just as life-stuff content. I use ccbill and well, should I refrain from putting photographs of my pets in my members section now? Visa would never know. But if it is now a no-no I can understand.
Fuckin big corporations, I hope they all burn in hell and die. And owner of Visa probably fucks his dalmation. Just trying to play it safe! |

A little story. They got the primo beast domain, they were almost first on the web for beast, and they used 100% stolen content. Made millions. I have mentioned Hans Burger before, he actually own 95% of the beast content on the web that you see. Burger had to watch these jerkoffs get filthy rich off his content, he finally wised up and put the fucking smack down on bestiality.com. I have had the misfortune of dealing with Burger associates and according to them they succeeded in moderate court success and had taken a couple of the owners of bestiality.coms houses etc. ONLY after they got an ass raping did bestiality.com buy exclusive content. And after they got the exclusive content, which is clearly some of the best quality beast content the world has ever seen, they royally fucked the producer. The kind of fucking that would get most people killed. The guys from bestiality.com are douchebags. Avoid them at all cost. |
Cherrylula -- not sure what you mean exactly by life-stuff content. If you'd email me with some specifics, I can tell you whether it's ok or not.
Visa has hired an outside company to surf porn sites for content, and while I can't imagine them going thru an amateur girl's site, looking for bestiality, who knows what else they may be looking for... Personally I think it's pretty fucked when you have to ask me a question like this regarding what you can put on your personal site. Shouldn't be having to happen. |
Well I was just going to take some pictures of my dog and cats.... I talk about them in my journal in my members area so thought it would be cool to put up pics of them. It would be totally not porn in any shape or form. I don't even do any spread and play stuff on my site, its very softcore.
I was thinking about girls I know who do the spycam thing, and have for example their dog on the bed sleeping behind them. I suppose we will have to see how far visa takes this? I know people love animals, as PETS, and surely hope visa will not go as far as to condemn something like that just because it resides on a site with some sexual content. Visa should take all of the PROFIT they've made from processing bestiality sites and donate it to an animal fund. I don't endorse or practice sex with animals personally, I just hate to see a major corporation making money on porn and then fucking over the entity through which they made lots of money. Ebay did it, Yahoo is doing it, Amex did it, now Visa. When the hell is someone going to start a fucking credit card company just for porn......?? I could sit around all day and think of names and logo's for that. It would be even cooler than my David Bowie debit card. Like a smoother version of paypal but for PORN!!!!!!!! I'd call it SEXBANK or something similar, and put a big picture of a good ten finger salute on the card. Then as the interent progresses, you can let us amateur girls put our pictures on the cards. Damn, that would be so cool. Someone take this idea and RUN!!!!! The internet was pretty much created and furthered by and for PORN. These big companies are constantly making shit more difficult for us to function properly. What the fuck is going to become in ten years from now??? If there was a service such as paypal, but exclusively for adult purchases, I think lots of people would use it if it was marketed in a good novelty form. Then again, maybe I just don't know what I am talking about and somewhere along the line an idea like that just is not feesible. All I can say is that someday I hope to have MY fucking picture on a debit card. That would rock. I bet my sales would increase LOL |
I understand exactly what you are saying cherry, and if it's just pics of your animals, not you naked with them around you, I can't imagine there would be any issue. I really can't imagine any issue with it anyway, but better safe than sorry.
The problem with starting a cc is first you have to have money, and then you have to have distribution. There are some differences in how all the cc's work -- I'll give you a quick overview -- Visa/MC -- two separate organizations -- they are regulating bodies with different geographical regions, and they have banks that issue cards and hold the notes, paying them a fee for issuing cards, cards used, issuing merchant accounts, etc. They have an International governing body, but not all the regions do everything the same way. (Has both money and distribution from many different sources). Amex -- currently is what can be called a closed loop transaction system. All the money and the cards etc, are provided by Amex, and no other entity. Amex recently won a case in court against Visa/MC, which means that banks can now issue Amex without having Visa/MC terminate their rights to issue Visa/MC (one more indication of a monopoly, Fatpad ;) ). Since Amex doesn't currently rely on bank distribution or a board of directors made up of issuing banks, acquiring banks, etc, they have much more control of how their cards are used and set their own rates -- there is no competition among issuers to give better rates, and won't be until there are mass issuers (the distribution problem). Discover -- started by Sears, I think currently owned by Sears in some way still. Another closed loop transaction system -- you can only get Discover from Discover, use it and pay for it directly thru Discover. These are the popular American cc's -- oddly enough, Carte Blanche and Diners Club were pretty much the first cc's but they never got the distribution or the marketing behind them -- Mastercharge (old MC name) was what really started putting cards on the map in a universal sense -- not a card specific to a store or a gas station chain -- and then Visa eclipsed them with some great marketing. Paypal falls into a grey area because they are neither a bank, an issuer, or an acquirer. The rumor is the banks are screaming bloody murder because people can park cash in Paypal accounts off their cc's without paying a cash advance fee and the banks are losing money. The other problem is that none of the funds they hold are insured, so if they went under the money would be gone -- and people that had put their money in with cc's would attempt to charge back in mass quantities. Sorry for the long post, cc's is never an easy topic tho. |

I thought he was back until I saw the date of the post. Hmm, did I register in 2002 or 2003?
<-- We'll find out soon |
I wish he would post here - and that I'd know his nick at least I can search his posts and avoid trying to find some interesting threads. He was a smart cookie with interesting views and solid arguements to backup his line of thought. You didn't have to agree with him - you just had to admire that he did put alot of effort in backing up what he said with 'thought' rather than rambling out of his ass because it was what the majority of the folks were saying. :)

Visa reports by URL? HOW???
This one is impressive. They only can report by URL if a CC Processor is giving a list... Thats what i understand. But that way no site is safe... PS: Intressting Topic. |
