While you haven't got the social conscience of Mahatma Gandhi, you do have certain causes that hold a place in your heart. You're likely the kind of person who takes a critical look at society's rules before deciding whether or not to stick to them. You may reject some because they don't match your principles, or you pick and choose from social conventions depending on which ones fit in with your agenda. You might even do things that you know are not "right" just so you can get what you want. As long as you are not participating in or encouraging behavior that has the potential to harm anyone else, your approach may be perfectly harmless.
