I think there is no comparison to Lebron. To be honest, he has skills of all the greats. He's bigger than Jordan and can play the foward spot. Jordan could never have done that. He passes and has vision like Magic, he can hit clutch 3 pointers like Reggie Miller, he can dominate a game and take it over, he can make all the players around him better. I truly think he is the best all around basketball player to ever play. I think over the years, he will break all kinds of records and most importantly lead his team to titles.

Agreed .... look at the Fakers now. They got Kobe and Phil and they SUCK. No one player makes a team .... its a group of guys that have chemistry .. like the Pistons. No crazy standout player there, but just a bunch of good players that all work well together like a well oiled machine.

The cavs have that same chemistry. Just watch and see what they do over the next few years.

wishful thinking at best --- sorry to burst your bubble as i am sure you just got done with lebron on tivo lol

He HAS the killer instinct for sure. Lacks the clutch drive to the lane? What? Have we been watching the same games. I have the basketball package and watch almost all their games. This year was when he got his 3 point game together and thats why no one can guard him now. He can drive to the whole and finish while getting fouled or step back and drop a 3.

I even talked to Yoda and he agrees ... Lebron is a Jedi Master.

How can Kobe be THAT good when the same team that went to the playoffs.. with D wade .. get traded to LA and then Kobe who u are saying is better than Dwayne.. takes his place ( dwayne's ) yet the lakers suck ass! LOL

The facts speak for themselves.. kobe is talented and very good one on one scorer.. he sucks cock as a baller! Fuck kobe!

You should buy/watch come fly with me.. to refresh your memory! There is nobody like jordan...

At least down here we have a ghetto version.. he goes by the name of D. Wade !!!

D. Wade is better than LeBron and Carmelo IMO because not only can he take over a game but he makes the other players on the team better because of his ball handling and passing.
Watch out for the Heat once Shaq comes back. :winkwink:

100% agree with ya. Kobe should be playing in that street ball league, not the NBA. He is a one man show and not a team player. D Wade is 10x the better player. You need more than point scoring to be the best.

I'm also from Cleveland, so yes, I'm a little biased. When Jordan played, I made sure I watched every game of his, he knew how to take over a game and win. LeBron is starting to do the things Jordan did later in his career. He's driving to the hoop, drawing major fouls, hitting all kinds of jumpers and 3 pointers including the big shots needed in crunch time.

So pay attention if you see him play on TV.

The Cavs will make the Playoffs this year and maybe advance to the second round or better.

And, he will win MVP this year.

It's easy to set records if your the only one on your team that gets the ball.

Koby = way better.

See how many his selfish ass wins now Shaq is gone. Donut. Zero and he never will. Kobe does nothing to make the players around him better like Jordan did. Scottie Pippen wouldn't have been half the player he was without Mike. And remember, the Bulls really didn't have a top notch center. Luc Longley, Bill Cartwright. Please!

Your right about the center position but dont forget about rodman, one of the strongest rebounders in the game ever.

King Adam 12-01-2005 04:11 PM

No one compares to Jordan and no one ever will. But no one will ever be the next Magic, or Bird, or Dr. J or Chamberlin, but Lebron will be classified as one of the best with all those top names.

The thing about Lebron is that he has a lot of talents. He is kinda a combination of a lot of good players. Thats what makes him no unique. Top scorer, rebounder, crazy vision and assists, 3 point threat, and most important, he knows how to get the other players on his team involved.

Right now, Lebron is the BEST over all player in the league ..... there is no doubt about it.

I just moved out here from Fort Lauderdale and I'm a huge Heat fan. I went to the home opener against the Pacers when Shaq got injured.
They're gonna be fine once J. Will, Posey and Walker all get in synch with the rest of the team. And Zo coming off the bench when Shaq is back. Oh my! :thumbsup

Again... we are talking facts.. What has kobe done ? Won championships.. please! He would have never passed the first round w/o Shaq! Actually HE DID NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS WITHOUT SHAQ :winkwink:

Tell me what has kobe done? How much better have his teams been since he's been playing? How many MVP has he won? Even what he is only good at.. scoring, how many scoring titles?

Punk! Kobe aint shit! bitch!

Even better.. just look up match ups.. Check the games where kobe and wade have played against each other.. look at the records and look at stats!!

And just in case.. This xmas.. we'll see it !! :winkwink: :thumbsup

Let's see: In Wade's rookie season, they went to the second round of the playoffs--without Shaq btw. And in his second season, he and the Heat went to the Eastern Conference finals, playing with an injury as was Shaq.
Hey Kobe, :321GFY

Remember Jordan went to college and STILL had this type of impact on the game. Lebron didn't go to college so he has a head start and he STILL wont even come to close. If you think he is the next Jordan, that man has a lot of work to do. Jordan broke A LOT of his records in the playoffs!

Also remember that the NBA today is different from the NBA of yesterday. Jordan went through Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Isaiah Thomas and all the other greats of that time to get his championships. He's played with and beat the best.

Lebron is good but he aint that good.

If anyone will come close, it will be Duane Wayde.

Matt 26z 12-01-2005 05:01 PM

Jordan? Please.

However, I think you can compare him to another Bull... Scottie Pippen. Lebron will be better than Pippen, but only in the sense that he'll get 7-10 more points a game and be the go to guy. Overall skills wise I don't think he'll top Pippen though.

I don't see anybody currently in the NBA who can fill Jordan's shoes within the next decade.

LOL

I just felt like getting mad views. Didn't know people were so passionate about this topic.

But I will still say, if anyone has the ability to do it, it's LeBron. All those stats you pull out on Jordan, well of course, he's Jordan and LeBron has many years ahead of him to live up to my projection. So let's not jump on the "D$ don't know shit about basketball wagon". The only way I can prove my statement to be correct will take years. So to say I'm wrong, you'll have to wait and see. I'm not wrong yet and I'm not right yet either.

You guys need to specify what it is you are comparing. Are you talking about raw talent, or someone who makes his team better and makes them win. If you compare VC, Kobe, Dwade and Lebron, you'd have to give raw abilities/talent to either Kobe or Vince Carter, and if you want to argue this, see Vince's games, or his dunk contests, or kobe's games. In terms of making his team better, Lebron and DWade get that, but I can't see which of the two are better, because they are both doing good things. Whoever said this was right, Lebron will reach his potential quickly, and it won't be in the same ballpark as Michael Jordan. In terms of excitement, I still think TMAC or VC or Kobe or Iverson, are the best and most exciting players in the game, followed by Lebron. There's a LOT of guys you people fail to mention in terms of building a legacy or being amazing, just because of all the stupid Lebron hype. I will not be surprised if Lebron doesn't win a ring during his entire career.

IMO, no one can compare MJ to some other NBA players. they can step up in their teams but they won't be able to play like MJ's.

hova 12-02-2005 03:57 AM
