You guys wanna see some PHAT bikes???

Check out West Coast Choppers :smokin

Jesse James is the fucking King of custom.

Yeah, Jesse is pretty good at what he does, but have you ever heard the phrase that chrome don't get you home? West Coast Choppers should be the posterchild for that phrase.

They had a piece on the discovery channel a few weeks back, where they were going to follow him and some of his boys as the rode from their shop to Sturgis, SD, non-stop.

What a joke. Was a good thing they had a chase truck and a film crew with them. They never even made it to the NV border before shit started flying off of their bikes, including seats, and electronic ignition systems.

I could not believe they allowed the piece to be aired. 1450 miles and I think every bike in the piece had to be worked on before they even pulled into town. Not very good advertising in my book.

If I was going to spend a lot of money, I would have to go with Bartell's H-D, The Harley dealership of the stars, and Ron is a great guy.

As far as the torque behind a Harley, you can bend your own steel frame doing burnouts. I have done some great wheelies and burnouts on my mostly stock Heritage.

Over the years I have owned a few bikes Mostly Harleys, In my opinion its best to leave them stock(yeah some extra chrome)When I want to go riding its what I want to do not wrenching. Besides the stcok bikes retain their value a lot better than any radical custom. Currently have a 96 FLHT (stripped down decker)

Anyone here ridden a boss-hoss? Ran into one last summer.. I'd never seen anything like it.

You are correct, but you failed to post the reason why....

They slapped that bike together as fast as they could because they were simply out of time due to having to meet deadlines on several other bike orders. Plus... it was not Jesse's work that failed.... it was the electronic ignition. (the seat was his fault obviously, but again... rush job)

I had a brand spanking new Harley I bought and rode off an HD showroom floor and 100 miles later in the middle of nowhere, the ignition system failed on me. So, don't blame Jesse.... shitty parts can be found everywhere. :winkwink:
