It's a new site. Lots of pages indexed. Some decent rankings so far, and everyday traffic grows.

You were caught red-handed copying and more importantly RESELLING my work, you have no side.

Jason Berardi is a crook and anyone doing business with him is doing so knowing that he has been busted more than once stealing scripts, hosting, and even reselling designers work as his own.

But someone you SOLD my stuff to, came to me because he recognized it.

You sold my templates to someone who knew of me and knew it was my work because it was readily viewable in my portfolio.

Try a new method Jason Berardi, because you were caught RESELLING my exact work and got busted.

You were pissed that I was doing similar galleries and threatened me. It was my belief that weppel was in cahoots with you. So that was my way of "fighting back". Dumb, probably...but it's over and done with. One person, with a easy to understand explanation.

Allow me to recap this.

Jason Berardi sells a client my work.

Client comes to me and says "fletch these look exactly like the ones in your portfolio"

I say "why yes, they are"

Jason is busted.

Jasons history is spilled across multiple forums, as he has been scamming people for gallery designs for over 3 years.

Jason gets pissed and waits till things blow over and then tries to say after two years this stuff doesnt matter.

You stole, you were busted.

You have a trail of people youve taken money from and never delivered. You can say what you want about me, but your history speaks for itself and you wre doing this years before you resold my work.

a scammer never stops scamming, they just change their product.

My reputation speaks for itself, your past is nothing but scamming and its all over the boards.

Back to the topic, from the demo sites I was shown awhile ago the package did what was advertised(very functional). As far as SEO well basically it just takes someone elses work and reposts it on your blog. I would dare say there is going to be repercussions for this reposting rss method on google SERPs. Thats just from doing my own research about SEO on webmasterworld and other boards. I made my decision not to buy the software on the premise that 1) It might be illegal to copy others RSS in a commercial manner and 2) Google may penalize for duplicate or copied content. Other than that Chio seems like a kick ass dude.

I'm a very satisfied user of Autoblogger. Chio IS my friend, but I don't think that has made my experience with the product substantially different from what anyone else here should expect.

Rather than as means to a specific end, I would encourage anyone considering a purchase of Autoblogger to think of it as a spectrum of powerful capabilites that converge blogging, content acquisition via RSS, content management and the optimization of text for SEO purposes in a blog context. There are many ways to use Autoblogger -- several of which are in evidence in my own blogs. My blogs are ranked at various levels, which is the result of many things I have done. Without doubt, Autoblogger has contributed to that success. WP is free. Most of the elements needed to blog successfully are available for free. $69 seems a no-brainer to spend on what I would -- without hesitation -- describe as an "advantage giving" tool.

Beyond that, consider the commitment Chio -- OUR FRIEND -- has shown to the product. He's not here just spamming. He's HERE. Period. Beyond that, I am happy to offer my own assistance to anyone who buys Autoblogger -- not because there will be a reflink at the bottom of this post. There won't be. Some of what you say is correct. Syndication, to put a blanket term over the practice of reproducing somebody else's content on your own pages and sites is NOT going away. Like all things, there will be those who abuse who automate TOO MUCH, who are basically just trying to get over -- our industry is filled with them. Google is behind the syndication model 100% -- and I will tell you why.

The rate of content generation on the Web is skyrocketing, yet we know that the rate of generation for WHOLLY ORIGINAL content is nowhere near that rate. What that basically means is that the vast majority of content being created is content about content, or meta-content, if you will. The creation of meta-content helps Google because the more things are "described" the better Google knows what they are. The RSS syndication model also has the benefit of providing Google with an uninterrrupted "source verification pathway" all the way back to the original author. If every person "adds" something by way of description, Google is happy. The value of your contribution, and thus your Google treatment will be a function of how well you have addded descriptive value, even upon someone else's work. Obviously, a "copy and paste" approach won't get you very far -- but then, who but a spammer would do that --
