Photogs - what's the fine for public nudity or lewd behavior?

I want to shoot some public nudity material but need to know what the fine or law might be regarding this kind of offense if caught - I live in Los Angeles area - any experience with this subject? - thanks

I think you can get a permit for something like that... it depends on how public it is. You can make it a private area and plant people around.
Sleep well, and dream of large women.

I don't know about L.A., but the basic trick anywhere is to not be noticed.

Check your local rules, but in some locales where I shoot it is a misdemeanor for the model (small fine if anything), and that is only if someone complains.

The important keys are to plan your shoot, have spotters (people not involved with the shoot keeping an eye open for gawkers), then shoot and move. It helps to practice before going out to the locations you plan to shoot at.

Caveat emptor...do it at your own risk.

EDIT: I was speaking about simple public nudity, lewd behavior is a whole other thing.

cool thanks - I saw a short documentary on that photog that did those postcards in NYC with people fucking in public - he rehearsed it with the models, had spotters, had models in quick undress clothing - then did the shots quickly - like 12 shots one pose - they were gone before anyone could even think - that always stuck with me - looked like fun - I guess today you can do the photochop just as easy without the risk but it just isn't the same thing.
