    Admit it!

    I know I did, about 10 years ago I went looking for porn on yahoo, I got hit with some 30 popups in a row and my comp crashed. Webmasters were really agressive back then.

The ISP supplied Nutscrape Navigator on a couple of 3.25 floppies and it didn't decode the binaries back then - had to run them through a separate uunecode app.

                                                                                                  My next stop was Yahoo search and went from there to SanFrancisco Dungeon website (still viewable on Wayback Machine).

                                                                                                                                              Back then we connected to Bulletin Boards that interconnected. In Toronto Canada Remote Systems was one of the biggest backbones.

                                                                                                                                              Their adult sections had lots of porn pics. Scanned from magazines. Frightening amount of kiddie porn and beasty stuff.

                                                                                                                                              At 14.4 dial-up video was not even thought about.

                                                                                                                                              A good batch download would fill up a 3.5" floppy disk!
