How do you collect money back from friends?

yeah, never borrow to them.. thats a good advice but i have lent out some cash to a friend. Its been over a year, and she knows she owes me.. yet she keeps having problems paying me back. Given im not visa international and that my debt wont fuck her credit history.. still i want to receive back some cash

Ive asked to get a post dated check from her and she still hasnt sent it, she's worst then some tenants ive seen!

Proactive, she has turned off any chances for anybody in the future to borrow off me.

If you have been in this situation, how did u get your money back?
    Someone finds you...

ask her to repay u with sex instead, maybe she won't have that much trouble putting out and atleast u get something back.

Only loan to friends if you can afford to lose it.
I've loaned twice, once I got it back after 4 years of no communication... the other's been 13 years and no word...

So, safe bet to say is.. stop being her friend and forget the money.
      ..and I'm off.

        1) shes not a "friend"
        2) keep bugging her about it. i dont think theres anything legal you could do since you voluntarily gave her money.
        3) if you dont succeed in getting your money back, cut your loses and take it as a lesson learned.

You hit it on the head yourself...

I have NEVER "loaned" anyone money. If a friend was in need I would evaluate if I was willing to give the money away or not. Cuz that's what you're actually doing.

If you ever think you can truly "loan" a friend money, you're not only going to lose the money, you'll likely lose the friend. It changes the entire dynamics of a friendship. In a true friendship, no one should have an "upper hand."

Give it away and make it clear you DO NOT want it back no matter what...otherwise everything will be fucked.

Does she have a credit card? You could ask for her to pay you via Paypal (or any other merchant account you may have) and then she can finance it on her own...

                  The Truth.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.
