Could you maybe ground flights to see good ole grandma in china for a few months.

Just until this whole avian super flu threat is gone, i hate shitting & puking at the same time.

Blame our government..growing up there was maybe a couple Chinese/East Indian kids in school..now it's maybe a couple white kids in a predominate Asian/East Indian school..I was quite shocked at the trend

im from canada, and i live in major urban center some of the month "travel back and forth alot". DUring the sars thing i wasnt scared at all, if fact i didnt even really think about it, and bird flu, if i had a list of concerns for everyday when i go out, birdflu is behind removing pebbles from the tread grooves on my tires when its -30C outside.

On one hand it's a slam on Canada... Since I fucked off because of the canadian bullshit experience I'm not going to defend it.

On the next hand it's kind of propoganda... You're odds of catching bird flu are less than having a 747 crash into your house. (Cook your food and don't screw chickens. Whats the problem?)

And lastly, I love Asian men... And from personal experience I can honestly say you do not get sars from a 30 asian man bukake. (But 1 hour after it you're horny again.)

We just have a higher % of asians compared to non-asians

i.e. if canada had 10 people and 1 was asian , that would make canada have 10% asians, if usa had 100 people and 9 of them were asians that would make 9% of americans asians , but theres still more asians in the usa right ...

besides that they have already found several cases of the bird flu in canada soits a moot point.

Turns out, migratory birds (specifically, ducks) have managed to pick up strains of avian flu. Not necessarily the partially human-specific H5N1 strain, but still a form of avian influenza.

Still, it's pretty damn unlikely that it's going to get here. For this virus to cross over you basically have to eat/sleep/shit/live/fuck birds 24/7. Last I heard, the most contact we have with birds up here is either feeding them in parks or eating them with lemon pepper and a side of rice.

That suggestion about the powerball ticket is a good one.

I'd bet on someone in China. They live and almost sleep with their chickens (And we are talking like billions of chickens and people). Very unlikely in Canada. The new pandemic strain will come from Asia.

Another confirmed case, a nine-year-old boy, survived infection while his dead sister is a suspected case.
