There is no perfect way to guarantee age Willow, which is unfortunate for all of us. Several years ago, credit card possession was the standard and given that fact, we assume the risk for checks since most judges probably wouldn't have looked at the situation and said alot of kids have checking accounts. Now the 'law' hasn't changed, people who aren't 18 have what appear to be credit cards, and it's the same situation as checks.
Phone billing has been a can of worms that we simply don't want to risk. Period. A decade or two ago, the audiotext industry had some serious problems with underage use of 900 numbers on dial in sex, and the chargebacks to go with it.
Didn't realize you'd asked a question directed at me, I haven't seen this thread in months and it seems that when I go and read one that's been brought back up, not much has been added in the latest posts, so I usually skip 'em.
