You typically don't see much back with ads on wm boards these days, more about branding. You owe what you owe and don't forget they recurr unless you cancel ;)

their traffic is webmaster.. and I repeat myself that I get a shitload of hits from YNOT and it has increased dramatically our sales since I got them on board over a year ago. If your having such a hard time then I suggest you contact them and ask someone there directly whats going on instead of bringing up their name on another board

Good Morning Everyone!

First let me start off saying that over at YNOT, we take pride in the fact that we will do everything in our power to make sure our advertisers are happy, and are getting good returns on their advertising. If you are unhappy or concerned with your advertising results, the first thing you should really do is CONTACT US.

Not paying your bill ... well, thats just wrong, but im not going to go into that for now, as accounting will deal with that.

If you would like, I will be happy to post a screenshot of your stats-to-date direct from our ad server. I'm sure that most here will agree that the job of advertising is to drive qualified traffic to your site and increase your brand. We have done this for you, at a VERY good price, and will be happy to show your returns from us here if you so wish.

I want to thank the YNOT advertisers that posted their good results with us in this thread. We appreciate your loyalty and support guys, and hope to continue a mutually beneficial relationship for a LONG LONG TIME!

And now back to your previously scheduled monday!

YNOT is a great and honest group. I'm confident if you even up with your bill they will find something that will work out well with your advertising needs.

well its not my place to comment on another company - but since we are not direct competitors ( I plugin movies ) you picture/movie content I think my comments can be taken I hope with a grain of salt.

The overall layout of your website doesnt really strike me. I would suggest having on your main page the best of the best of your photo content so immediately impress those hitting on it. I would seriously remove all the links to other sites below so as not to bleed traffic but it also takes away from your main goal.. to get webmasters to click inside to learn more.

Your text does not make me want to click anywhere.. I may suggest animated gif's that grabs the eyes attention to click. The whole site is black and white with banners below that draws the eye away.

The text that describes your content is lost in the upper portion and doesnt really stand out - once again this is where your pictures come into play showing what you got - not just saying it.

I humbly suggest that you create a sales feature section on the front page to promote any packages you have - give them a reason to buy. This may also include some valued clients of yours giving your site praise (referrals).

This goes back to your banners now - I havent seem them on YNOT - so if you want to post them here that would be good, but if they are any indication of your site - you need to bump them up a bit to sizzle.

The whole site and personality of the company needs some "pimpin" if I can be so bold or simply put - drive interest to your stuff and what you are selling that makes you unique and on top of they game out there.

--------

If twinkley says that you are getting hits, then you misrepresented yourself by saying nothing is happening. Something is !!

The team over there are masters at promotions and getting some "kick" into your stuff.. use them.. thats what your paying for. Dont abuse them as you imply here in this thread.

Well folks... I certainly appreciate all the kind words about YNOT here.

And Peace... I gotta tell ya, I'm pretty disappointed with you. Danielle and I have done nothing but bend over backwards for you. Sure it's your prerogative to post anything you want anywhere you want... but when you start a thread on another board entitled "Ynot.com ad problem No leads Advise needed" how could you possibly in your right mind not think that it isn't inviting "scandal" as you so put it?

Any time you've needed us via email or ICQ... we've been there for you. You had a lot of questions beforehand... we answered them as honestly and as promptly as possible. We critiqued your ads for you and gave you what we considered to be good direction before they went up. Couldn't pay your bill on time for the first month?... No problem... Ads not ready to go up on time?...No problem... Needed some help with pricing your first month?... No problem... and on it goes.

We've been VERY patient with you in my opinion... Twinkley will be posting your stats here shortly... stats that you have had full access to since day one. Stats that will show that when your first month is over, you will quite possibly be paying less than $1 / webmaster clickthru.

Anyway... pay your bill which is now nearly a month late and your ads can come down on the 1st.

By the way Peace, the word is spelled COMPLIANT with an A. Just thought I'd mention it in case you wanted to change the banner in your sig. It's amazing how many people won't do business with a company when they see a glaring typo like that. Kind of looks uprofessional if you get my meaning.

I'm baaaack (I know you all missed me!)

Before I post these stats, I would like to say that as a rule, we do not publicly post the stats of ANY of our advertisers. These stats are for the use of YNOT in analyzing traffic trends and for the advertisers themselves to see how different campaigns affect their results. Since Peace has given us permission in this instance, below is a copy of his stats direct from our ad system from the day his campaign went up less than 20 days ago.

At the current average clickthru rate, by the time his month is up he will have gotten somewhere around 1130 clicks for the month, putting this campaign WELL within the dollar per click amount. (this number is based on the current stats averaged per day times the amount of time he has left on his campaign).

Alright, now I need to go do some work for all our other awesome advertisers!

Happy Monday!

well I dont want to get into a 'whos fault it is' I am merely offering some suggestions that can offer some help in turning some of those hits your getting (1100). I am doing about double than with YNOT on my ad's so if your getting a good buck a click I am getting around 50cents per click. so it would appear that of the webmaster traffic your getting, they simply are not staying at your site for a reason.

As said, we are using the same traffic, so if I am doing well and your not feeling that the traffic is not turning for you - then this appears to be a matter of banners/site.

Hey Jay, while I agree that this thread wasn't the best idea, I can also understand someone trying to get a different point of view. If this thread was posted on Ynot, obviously he's not going to get ANY sympathy. I have NO doubt that both you and Danielle WERE very professional with him, but all he's probably seeing is the company that sold him the ads trying to justify the expense. There's certainly nothing wrong with that either btw.

Perhaps he should have asked a bunch of people with no association to Ynot offline, but I'm sure you can understand trying to get a non-biased point of view.

Again, make no mistake, I'm in NO WAY agreeing that this thread was the best way to get advice in this situation, BUT with all of the positive feedback Ynot got from a thread NOT posted on Ynot, it should surely make him see that it actually wasn't Ynot's problem and not just Ynot members defending Ynot, which can be the case in any online community.

I'm the LAST person to believe that ALL publicity is good publicity, but this thread certainly isn't bad publicity for Ynot. That's what you get for running a straight up business over there. People not directly associated with Ynot defending you and making you look good. Oh, and Ynot people themselves have the ability to come and display how professional they can be, and have been.

This has got to be the nicest gangup on a thread I've ever seen. Kudos to Ynot! Really, very professional.

Gonzo, you got the GBU info I need to get Serge's Good, Bad, and Ugly site back online?

It's been awhile, and if you want, I'll give you my IP to add into your IP tables for download.

I emailed Technick all the code earlier this month. Youll have to ask them on what they are doing with it now.

Man I am very happy with you servise and Danielle as well...And again we are just discussing..Why you are dissapointed..My motivation is not to do nothing wrong..I am looking for the truth...So many people click and I still got nothing.

Also our deal was 1,5 month not removed by 1st And you wanted to send a mailer...and there is nothing to get upset I never said it was your fault but the reality is o sales o requests

Keep positive...I am customer and i am right..Like my customers are always right too

Coming from a friendly competitor viewpoint, I have to say that oftentimes it's just as much the fault of the advertiser as the publisher for the success or failure (unfortunate in any case) of a campaign. Oftentimes the former is more frequently to blame. I have worked with YNOT representing our own clients on several occasions and they have always done an OUTSTANDING job to remain both flexible and stable, allowing advertisers to express their goals and needs while working to generate and route targeted traffic and by making themselves available and visible. "You get what you put into it" and since each program/product/service needs to be uniquely represented much of it comes down to marketing, planning your campaigns - not just throwing up a banner and expecting miracles. Some of the best campaign results happen when maximized - matching PR's and promotions, branded banners and name recognition, and a positive effort to make the most of the allowance that being an advertiser presents. Remember, they know their site best, just as you know what content is in your inventory.

I also have to back up their stats, they have 99% of the time been right on with what our own tracking reflects.

The best advice you can get on making the most of your advertising exposure with any publisher is through positive communication, adjusting banners and/or placement, or even by getting involved on their boards, radio shows, newsletters, and other means of exposure. It's not easy, and there is an element of trust you are dealing wtih when selling content to webmasters these days, so keep working on laying those bricks and learn from every experience. YNOT works hard to keep the business flowing and you're with some great people to start. I say pay the bill (First and foremost) and stay positive and keep your communications direct, and good things will happen.
