In person I'm very easy to get along with. I'm very friendly and understanding, and very VERY patient. Those who know me in person can vouch for that.

On the boards I've been an asshole quite a bit in the past. A nickname on a screen isn't a person. But lately that has been changing. If you'll notice, I've been much nicer to people.

Steve Lightspeed is the exception to that. I hate him for betraying my trust and fucking over my cousin. But I think you'll notice I've even toned down the stuff I say to him compared to what I used to say.

And if you'll also notice, Steve is the one who started this. I did not. Read all the posts and notice who people have been seeing as the fool in this thread...

How isn't he playing nice? That comment would be more fitting towards Steve, or you could have mentioned both of them.. Did you read the whole thread / Steve's comments too? Just curious..

And the difficulty making friends comment.. seems the same for me, though it's always ended up because I have a little more sensitivity and care than the people I "don't" make friends with, and higher ethics and standards, and it seems Donovan is the same way.

Certain people are able to stay neutral and deal/handle all of the 'bullshit' people in the industry, I think one such person is AaronM, and I'm sure allows him some more avenues for making money.. I know that other people, like myself, and to me also Donovan, don't care for or like 'bullshit' and won't just sit back when someone throws it.

Maybe I'm completely wrong.. meh.. I've just always seen AaronM as a good guy, though stays neutral, and Donovan has always seemed like a good guy as well.

As for Donovan's comments on Steve self-destructing, I've seen it too, and it does make me sad; none of this 'drama' or situations would likely exist if everyone was in a good mind set.

I'm getting the hell out of this thread now though..

Agreed. I know nothing about this little tiff (pun intended). I can say though that I had a delightful conversation with Donovan in AZ at one of the shows. Very nice, very polite, and a good communicator. I did not sense anything rude or shady about the guy. Although we haven't done any business together, we have chatted on icq a couple of times. I have nothing bad to say about the guy. :)

I won't disagree. I will tell you, though, that there are only two people in this world that I hate. And in both cases it's because they betrayed my trust.

The rest of the bitterness has lately been controlled if I just remember that the person on the other end of my tongue lashing is just that: a person. If I wouldn't say it face to face I shouldn't say it period. Agreed?

I've never had a problem with you Donovan, and have actually enjoyed reading your posts. This is a sad situation between the two of you and I hope that it works out - Karma will have the last word.
