Based on the PSEPC information, there are two key elements to this bill. First, telephone and Internet service providers will be required to include an interception capability as they introduce new technologies.
Second, law enforcement will be able to compel ISPs to disclose subscriber information, including name, address, IP address, telephone number, and cellphone number. It would appear that such information can be compelled without judicial oversight.
