Its really great for surfing. The main problem I had with is it the cache it uses, which is the entire purpose of it actually. I do lots of DNS and Linux work for myself and friends, so after rebooting Bind, flush dns, I would have to clear the cache and even then sometimes it wouldnt try for a new record. It was just a bit of a hassle for me.
