Can someone explain this to me? SE Question.

Goto yahoo, msn or overture.

Do a search for Raven Riley.

Top link. It appears that its our main RR site, but when you click on it, a ref code gets attached.

Noticed a drop in type in's, and found this out.

Google seems normal though.

Anyone know how this is done? Is it legit? Basically I feel like this guy found a way to take half of our type in income.

Most likely a spyware, but it could be a cloaked URL and some one has jacked your google listing.

i think what he is seeing is the url that is there in the status bar when you mouse over the title: http://www.google.com/url?sa=U&start...dex.php&e=9797

mistaking the google id 9797 for a referral code

I've noticed this also for my sites.

This is just one example http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...q=bikinivoyeur

As you can see my affiliate with account 88 has the #1 spot. I've always just assumed his SEO skills are better than mine.

Our affiliates' links for bvcash seem to get good placement for many keywords.

yeah, that is different though...one of your affiliates actually does have more se shit going on than you all....

i hate it when that happens though, makes me work twice as hard to gain the top spot for my sites back....in my mind, i should always retain the top spot for my own sites, i feel like I have missed out or lost if someone else gets it

I get #1 listings for certain sologirls with my refferal links on certain SEs. I don't know how I do it, or how to replicate it with another girl. Not cheating at all.... they just like my link. The only thing I will say is "blog".

Same deal for me on yahoo: http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=bik...b-t&fl=0&x=wrt

I also notice that the url displayed is www.bikinivoyeur.com but when clicked ends up on http://www.bikinivoyeur.com/index-ccb.php

This tells me that it is being redirected by one of my affiliates using our older CCBill linking code. All our old ccbill links go to that index-ccb.php tour page.

You guys talk about making money and how you are all so 1337 and I read this thread and just have to laugh...

#1 Jace (and half of everyone else) He said Google was the only SE that DIDN'T have the code... So stop with the, I don't see the code shit... Fucking morons...

#2 To get your code to show up you just need to have the most links with your code. The reason Google is having less of this is that they actually respond to complants of this happening.

#3 No spyware or cloaking involved and not a whole lot of SEO shit either. Usually the people who own these are people who post the most galleries (Remember gallery posting?)...

#4 When you go to RR you will get a NATS code appended with the typein account. That is normal.

I saw that page. I used to have the top listing in Yahoo for some of those programs on that page (the site with my affiliate code) for over a year. Now I think I know how I lost them.

At least I know it wasn't because of something I did.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Guess they are paying a pretty penny for those deals though.

Care to explain how they manage to have Yahoo show www.ravenriley.com but the link goes to www.wildlinecorp.com ? header redirect and slurp gets confused?

It is actually a paid listing, part of the paid listings that Yahoo sprinkles within their listings.

Probably costing him anywhere from .25 to whatever per click.

"You dont need a "deal" with Yahoo to do that - anyone can that takes the time to go through their pro submit program"

yes you do....its call a direct xml feed. I use to have one with inktomi just the same as my friend chip that owns www.wildlinecorp.com.

Hit me up if you want his contact, his traffic is cheap and converts like a motherfucker.
