ilbb, we purchased your script, and it does indeed rock, however, I have one request/suggestion of a feature that should not be too difficult to add to it.
How about have it check for a recip? Granted, not all links will have recips, but it would be nice to be able to look at the report and see it. Thanks. Either way, this is a very handy tool. |

It doesn't have any impact what so ever to your page rank. Also that new domain could end up after 2/3 month's with a PR4 or PR5. Same for a new sandboxed domain ... linking to a sandboxed domain doesn't have any bad results to your page rank or the way you get listed in the serps. Don't judge a new domain too much. Note: A domain showing in the toolbar as a PR5 can actually be a PR0 (penalized) domain. This domain still show up when you look for it in google, but on the next PR update it will show as a PR0. In the mean time it still shows PR5 for the next months, and you will be credited by google for a crosslink to a PR0. Actual PR is not always what it shows in the toolbar. And a lot of people have links with PR0 pages even when the toolbar shows a PR5. |
when google banned one of my domains her PR changed from 0 to n/a immediately.
So I don't believe sites (with older domains) and with n/a PR. |
and sure there is different between toolbar PR and real rank that is used for results sorting
|
seems like a nice software, im icq'ing you

Okay, I decided to do a spot check using the backlinks column (admittedly, I had not paid attention to it before). Of the 2 I checked that had 0, one did and one did not. Something is not quite accurate, but some people are losing a PR5 recip today. |
btw. new feature added: whois link to report for faster domain checking

In fact the actual page rank is PR0 still it shows PR(whatever) until the next PR update. So keep in mind that what you see as PR for a page is not always the actual page rank. I like your script, just your statement about your so called "too young pages" is bullshit. Where did you find that info? QUOTE: Your bad neighbourhouds are banned domains and too young domains. Make your homework before you make any statements like that because you don't know what ya talking about. |
yes misunderstanding...sure..penalized sites has PR...they are only falling down in SE's positions. And there is no known way how to detect if you are only penalized (maybe ask google guys).
But when you are banned you will detect it easy and Your PR will be set to n/a immediately |
and about 'too young pages'...I found it i this great seo maillist (not in english):
http://seo.nawebu.cz/ But how it is in real knows only few guys from Google |

Hello guys. So first of all there are a lot of softwares out there who check your backlinks. Second of all... I saw someone saying (or even more) that new domains are spam ones or something like this. Well this is a completely STUPID thing. First of all PR is not everything. It is just ONE of the factors SEs use to rank the sites. Then there are 3 type of links : 1 - general links not related to your website, 2 - general links related to your website 3 - specific links related exactly to your website (ex for an escort site 1 would be a candyshop, 2 would be an adult movies store and 3 would be a personal escort site/escorts agencies et). So when linking to someone there are a lot of factors to consider not only the PR : the anchor text, title of the page, anchor-keywords found on the page, PR of the page, number of outboud links from that page etc. So when you see a PR0 domain... and you check it out and see the site is new.. don't look away.. check it out better and in 80% of the cases the site will be a great one to link with (at least from my experience)... don't run after a PR4 with 300-400 links on its index page... you know how PR you will get from that ? I tell you... VERY LITTLE... also SEs might see such pages as a farm (gathering of a lot of all kind of links on one page) - and they pretty hate such things. New domains have 60=70% changes to improove and give you more PR and better stats... for ex right now I am doing a link building campaign... using links pages.. no more than 20 links per page... the campaign will stop when his homepage reaches PR4 ... from the internal linking the links pages will get a PR2... so a page with PR2 with 20 outbound links considered with a PR4 page with 400 links on it.. see the difference right :)? And the PR is updated once at some 3 months ... so if you want good positions and a good SEO on your website you have to do a continuous work... don't run only after the big fish... because more small fishes beat up the big one :)... the ones that want to know more about SEO or want to hire someone to do this for them at very good prices just ICQ me at 216429032 or post a message in here with your email and I will contact you.

Yes,
1) sure the most important thing is quality and fresh updated content 2) Google PR (now I mean toolbar PR) is not GOD but it can shows how partner site is relevant or not. It's good to check whois of sites with n/a tool bar pagerank for possible google ban. 3) my seo tool only helps you to do this dirty slow work do automaticaly. ...more about seo on seochat.com :pimp |
bump for you! ;)
