Put some gold 100 spokes on that and paint it metallic greenSIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.Comment

"chop" just means the roof is loweredOriginally posted by J-$thats just dope. pardon my ignorance, but is that a chop or a fitting job??
there's not really a term for turning a caddy into an el camino, "custom" would cover it though

I thought he was referring to it being a "photochop" I didn't even make the connection at first.
I would say that the photo isn't real but to do something like that you wouldn't simply be outfitting a chevy with caddy panels it would be an entire custom started with a Coupe DeVille.Comment

Is that car really any more ridiculous than a Cadillac EXT?
Cadillac was once the pinnacle of American automotive, class, quality and innovation.
Where did GM go so wrong?

someone in my area has built one like this, front end was a 70's caddy, rear an el camino, painted up white & blue. total custom of course, lots of body work to get everything to fit correctly
so I kinda doubt this is a photoshop since others have built vehicles like this, although it could be

This was a car offered for sale by the Cadillac dealers in the Mid 70's It is made by Cadillac's Custom Coach Works. It is called the Cadillac Mirage. There was about 300 made i think and it was maily for rich texas ranchers. Some Funeral directors also used them for Flower Cars. When i was growing up my father collected cars and one of his buddy's had one, so i remeber the story on it. I think his had some type of rack in the back for Golf Clubs if i remeber correctly....I will try to find a link with some History. I also remember hearing an interview with Travis form Blink 182 and he was looking for one to add to his Caddy collection.Comment

That's awesome. I thought it was a great photoshop deal. It's interesting to see how attitudes were different in the 70's. That car would sell big now since GM has proven that you can put a Cadillac Badge on about any Chevy and sell it for 10x more.Originally posted by SlickCash BrockThis was a car offered for sale by the Cadillac dealers in the Mid 70's It is made by Cadillac's Custom Coach Works. Thankfully Mercedes Benz had a bit more class and didn't make one of these
