I'm told WiFi is everywhere. Evidently, I haven't reached "everywhere" yet. LOL

I've also noticed that there are little keyfob devices one can buy that go by the names "Hotspot Locator," WiFi Hit," and "WiFi Spy." These little goodies are supposed to tell you when you're near or in a hotspot and are also touted as being "directional" so it can direct you into the center of the hotspot.

Anyone got one, used one, or know anyone that does? What's the feedback on these little gadgets? They worth the minor pop? And, can they distinguish between "free" and "paid" hotspots?

personaly i just use my laptop and Netstumbler. it also has GPS capabilities so u can just bung ur lappy in ur car, gor for a drive and when u get home the somftware will tell u the gps locations of the access points along with info on each one ;)
