Well, 'Playboy' is a huge brand now, but it all started from the magazine. It's still going, which is quite a feat, but it all still seems so... mediocre... Playboy should be the Microsoft of the porn industry. But it just isn't. Why is that?

Well, yes, perhaps it hasn't modernised enough? Then again, Playboy Magazine isn't even the king of the softcore porn paper.

Playboy seems to be more of a really long lasting 'fad'.

Playboy is Playboy - they are not a catalyst, but more of an iconic figure. They do not follow, they are consistent in what they do. Comparing Playboy to anything is like comparing apples & oranges

Penthouse had the stories (Penthouse forum was it?) but the pics looked like Vaseline had been smeared over the lens on the pussy shots.

Playboy had the better jokes and better/more pics.

I have not rubbed one out to Playboy since I was 15. Playboy was something back in the day and the brand is one of the best but as a stroke mag... they have NOTHING to offer.
