I received an email from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police
here is it;
To whom this concerns, I understand that you are the operator of the website www.exploitedteens.com, hence I am writing to you concerning the content of your site. My name is Garett Cuzzack and I am a constable with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. We have received complaints regarding the proposed age of the actors engaged in your adult films. It has been suggested by members of the public from Canada as well as the United States that the models may not be eighteen years of age. Under current Mutal Legal Assistance treaties and the United Nations North American Transborder Crime Convention, it is the Royal Canadian Mounted Police's right and obligation to investigate such acts. I once got (fake) ones like that from FBI, RCMP, and the Australian Federal Police all within a week. It was strange, but it was obvious they were fake. I don't think the person who sent them spoke english as their first language. The email they used seem to trace to some place in Tennessee.

Well, one simple solution is to just call the RCMP in Victoria B.C. and ask them if that person is an officer there. They are obligated to tell you if they are. If they are not, then you can actually launch a complaint with them for impersonating a police officer. You have the IP from the email header.
The letter is an obvious fraud for several reasons. The Mutal Assistance Treaty is to assist authorities in the investigation of criminal matters, it does not allow one police authority to directly content someone in another country and demand that they provide them proof of anything. If they were in doubt, they would contact the American Authorities and *NOT* you. Notice the little threat that if you do not cooperate he will inform the American authorities? I also wonder why members of the public from the United States complained to the RCMP instead of the American authorities. I would play with him a little bit, write him back and say you will cooperate fully and ask him the address that such documenation should be mailed to. Or whether the documentation should just be mailed to the RCMP main headquarters in Victoria B.C. along with a copy of the email including the originating I.P. because the email was sent from a hotmail account and not that from the RCMP offices. Also ask him if he is aware that impersonating an officer is a crime in Canada. So he either writes you back using an RCMP email address originating from an RCMP office including his badge number, or you will contact the RCMP directly have have him charged with impersonating a police officer. |

The RCMP do not use hotmail , nor do they email you they show up at your door.
They however do not take people pretending to be officers of the law very well. it is a crime in canada plain and simple. You can send it to the RCMP I would call them. Or you can just fucking scare the guy silly and let him know you haved passed all his info to the real RCMP.

I had a huntch that the origination IP was from Shaw Cable so I checked Arin's whois database and sure enough, it is. But maybe play a little with him to figure out what his motive. $5 says he wants free porn and is trying a blackmailing ploy.
