I don't care for them that wide either and it is a little too bright for me.

When they get some entries on there it will not have that wide white space that you are seeing now.

I like the design, it didnt crash my opera.

i think the blue is too vibrant... maybe a more softer pastel blue would look better...

You should try black on blue maybe ... or a darker blue ... for the menus

this guy has some serious skills.

the tender beauties one is what i do - pretty hack - mixing in a ton of HTML within a WP CSS template.

this guy's is all CSS - i don't have the patience to do that - just so used to tables for laying out everything that i am lazy to try a 100% CSS layout.
