Yeh, I read the original thread and came away thinking AWE really fucked somebody over. Then later on I found this thread and now I have no idea what to think, haha. Anyway, if AWE was cheating it should definitely be addressed, privately.

I agree with you sly..... a paying advertiser should not get called out on the board over a contest. If AWE pulls out because of sicone, I'm sure Lens will not be happy. My only point in all my responses is if the rules didn't say that adult.com person couln't enter..... and if he did have more votes... why didn't he win?

But I'm sure if he did win people would be saying it was rigged.... such is life on GFY

Your perception is based on the word of a guy .... oh, never mind: read my last post. He was obviously pissed off that he couldn't get a gf or whatever a ticket and he's venting in a very ill-advisable way. He has NO proof AWE cheated him in any way - they posted the number of votes and all he said was "B.S.!!!".

So why doesn't he come back and post the names of everyone that did vote for him?

In fact, forget it, it's too late. He publicly, viciously attacked a company that advertises on his own company's board - there's no way he should even be at that party or even in his office Monday morning. If he was so pissed, he could've gone to the powers-that-be at Adult.com/Playboy and handled there. At that point, my guess is the response would have been "what the fuck where you doing entering the contest in the first place?" Read: Conflict-of-interest.

Anyway, if you disagree on all that, then you must admit that if it's true he was just trying to get a ticket for someone (a more likely explanation that led to all this rage), then he has lied about his intentions - trying to test if an advertiser was running a rigged contest - and I wouldn't trust his word on anything to do with this.

Okay, I'm out. Another sad drama should be sealed and closed for good.

1st... Did I handle this wrong... yes I did. In anger I made a post instead of taking the time to contact a rep from the company. I think it would be hard pressed to find a person on the board who hasn't done this.

2cnd... to cover the rules about if I could participate and win, I asked that very question in the contest thread and was told yes I was eligible.

3rd... This was not done to make AWEmpire look bad, or to point them out as scammers/shavers, this is why my original post was deleted and I was asked to repost it without remarks that would leave a person wondering.

4th... Irregardless of who I work for or who is a top sponsor or advertiser should not matter, If a person feels he is wronged in some way they have the right to speak their mind. Please read point number 1 again now... yes I did go about this the wrong way.
