    So I joined Maxim Magazine on SEPTEMBER 22...

    and I have NOT fucking received an issue yet. They charge my CC a week after I suscribed.

    So I fucking emailed them and got this reply:

    "Dear Mr. George,

    We received your order on 9/22. It takes approximately 6-8 weeks to
    start receiving your magazines. Your subscription will start with the
    September issue and expire with the August 2007 issue.

    If we can be of any other assistance, please let us know.

    Thank you for your patience,

    Suzanne Samuels
    Customer Service"

    Ok, so it takes 6-8 weeks to send a magazine my way?

      It takes quite a while to receive the first one. Did when I had a sub with them.

          I got mine within a month, i think i received 3 issues within a week (prior month, current month, and next months).

              Odd, with magazines like maxim and the like I never have had to pay. I just went with those email offers and presto a one year free subscription. They did take around 1.5 months to start though.

                          Why did you pay? Free subscriptions are all over the web.

                          I have Maxim, Blender and Stuff free for 3 years. They usually end up in the trash shortly after arriving.
