this site is genuine, it's no scam, it's no instant moneymaker... i just want to pay off to the island where i've spent most of my beautiful childhood summers... i inherited the land from my grand-grandfather and i decided i'm not the one who's going to build up some ugly apartment building there and ruin the intact landscape and that pittoresque small village, but rather do something that will be a heritage for everyone, open for visits..

i am not selling you pixels, i'm not granting you thousands of clicks or tons of traffic to your website (even though that's likely to happen if you have link on this site), all i can give you is that piece of land, certificate and t-shirt and a chance to win that cruise (i'll be your host, myself). that's all i can offer. and all that for just $25.

now i know when you remind me who you are. i remember the project you're talking about, back in january 2005, when i had serious family issues that took me away from the business for 6 months, sorry. i sincerely felt bad for all the projects that i've failed or could not take on in that period, but as said - worst period of my life. no wonder i have to use valiums everyday and get 1-2 panic attacks a day. great life, huh? but, healing slowly.

learn to write business first. at least i am honest, i don't hide the fact that some problems left some scares on my nerves, but at least i am getting better, while some just try to fu#k others up, i don't care about them.

no need to talk about it anymore, hope you have healthy life and you never experience the problems i had begining 2005 (not with myself, but with closest family member).

I don't EVER air out my dirty laundry on boards, but your SCAMS must come to an end Luka...and I see you're up to more scams.

In all the years i've been in this business, i have only ran into ONE problem...you. Lets see if we can total up your "life problems" cause i'm having a real hard time keeping track of them.

My story is simple. Like everyone else, I've been taken in with your logo design work. The first project wasn't anything to serious which is why i never made a big deal about you stealing my money (the first logo that never got completed). I gave up trying to contact you as you seemed to disappear and i simply wrote it off as a loss. Also, this was BEFORE your Jan 2005 problems so there's no excuse for this. Still, i wrote it off and moved on.

Then you posted this huge thread here on GFY about how you had problems but now you are back to doing business.

AGAINST my better judgement, i said to myself, what the hell...maybe it was just a bad time back then and i should give it another try. We all fall onto bad times and I really wanted to believe that this time would be different and in the process, help the guy out.

So I got into contact with you and we did the logo. Now, this time you did the logo and completed it...BUT, for some unknown fucking reason, you refused to send me the final file (psds,etc)....something that would have taken you 3 SECONDS to email over....ie; select logo, attach logo to email, send email...that's ALL YOU HAD TO DO. I emailed you over and over..no reply. All over a simple attachment that i was trying to get from you. And yes, i was paid in full.

But here's the funny part. BEFORE that happened, I sent MORE money to do a complete site. I wanted a whole site to go with the new logo. And what happens next? Yep! You guessed it...you dropped off the fucking face of the earth (yet again). How fortunate for you.

....and dropped off the face of the earth right after this "i'm back" thread. Weird, isn't it?

So tell me Luka. What new life altering experience happened this time between July 2005 and now??? You write up this nice "i'm back in business" thread and then something so devastating happens (again), that you HAVE to disappear and can't even simply send one fucking email with the attachment over???? Please man......

Oh, this gets better!

So what happens next? Two months or so later, i wake up to a "poor Luka" email explaining on why he disappeared..sound familiar?

What is it they say? Oh yes...history DOES in fact repeat itself.

So lets recap.

You steal peoples money. Then you post a "i'm back and sorry" thread. Then you steal more money from people trying to give you business and help out. Then you email an "i'm back and sorry" email....(probably trying to get more money from suckers like me)

BUT NOT ONCE in that email did you ever offer to refund my money.

I will admit this. I take full responsibility for all this.
I don't blame you Luka for being a total scammer. I blame myself for trusting so easily again. I knew everything ahead of time and i only blame myself for being a total idiot.

nice to see you around... i don't want to quarrel over a forum, especially not over one like gfy is. yes, i could now start talking about the reel profits (that first logo) and like 50 concepts/updates you wanted me to do and always saying "perfect", but in few second "hey, but how about adding a bit of gloss", "perfect", "no, let's change color scheme slightly", "perfect", "no, no, change this"... and change that.. that's why i gave up on that first project with you, nothing personal.

i was amazed when you got back to me with signature locations and younity projects... and i loved the logo we did for signature, aswell as the site's general layout, remember it? i needed some materials, then i got ill and then communication died... i sent you last e-mail to your only e-mail i had (mych [at] earthlink [dot] net) and through which you always replied... it was 4th october and that mail ended with (quoted):

i never got any contact nor anything else from you afterwards. if you wish, get in touch, you'll get a refund or whatever (some logo or something if you wish), i am neither angry nor disappointed in your comments about me - you've got rights to have own opinion on anything.

and, no, this time it wasn't anything new, it was just a consequence of what happened to me during worst 5-6 months of my life, begining this year. i wish you won't get in that kind of situation in your life, ever. i had to quit everything and get myself slowly back on the feet with unselfish support of my wife and some other people i've worked/am working with (thanks!). they have complete understanding as they know all the details and they've seen similar situations, so they know how to help. thanks vahe and company ;)

now, it's up to you. if you wish to contact me, you know how to do it. i will not write a one bad word about you, i take the blame, its my fault, but i did try to contact you, maybe i should've tried more?

trust me or not, i simply don't care. i don't think i'll be visiting this board much often, it helped me out to define myself as a brand designer back in summer 2003 when nathan (from nats) introduced me here.. and i liked it.. but then, some dirty games kicked in, and i must say - there are definitely some designers that will sell their soul for money, but i'm not that kind. designers should live in their designed freedom - if you pay me $300 that doesn't mean you own me (not talking directly to you michael, but generally speaking). i am not for sale and definitely not someone's slave (you know who you are).

someone said, everything can be purchased... well, trust me, it's not true. i've witnessed that myself, and my views and opinions changed a lot this year, especially in last 3 months - 180 degrees spin.

it's not all about cash, chicks and getting laid. there is life beyond that. call me crazy, do whatever you wish, but i hope to hear you via mail, michael.

don't be surprised if you see iconfish as an open-source project in the near future. chain is as strong it's weakest link, no matter how huge it is.. so is the system this world is chained down with - fight it.
