spielbergs new movie "münchen" ! who is going to watch it or has already ?

just saw the making of on tv and its kinda "funny" that not a single scene was filmed in munich...

I heard that it should be too "pro islamic"


any thoughts ?

I saw it..really liked it. The gf didnt like it...too gory.



I had heard the opposite...that it glorified Israel's secret team of assisins.

Personally found it to be a great mix of showing how there is a shift in power -> evil and how its just a never ending cycle. I like to call that "Frat Mentality"....well i'm on top now so i'm going to squish you

It is not pro-Islamic. Spielberg did a good job by keeping the movie balanced, but still it was more towards the pro-Israeli side. But very good movie, very powerfully made.

I saw it when it first came out, I really enjoyed it. Any movie like that that isn't a real documentary should only be taken in as entertainment.

Very good movie. Acting was top notch. The scene with the female assassin was so brutal but played out so well.

I thought it was very well made. I was wondering, did they use authentic footage of the events in the movie or was it all staged?

The TV footage that they showed in several scenes. For example the faces of the Israelian athletes after the attact... there were other scenes in the movie that made me think that Spielberg used footage from 1972 to incorporate into the movie.
