The smoking thing was actually an electrical fire.
I removed the footage when I was throwing water on it.
Water made it angrier.

Not pretty.

I run with Intel so maybe its your processing? I dunno.

But I know that HDV can be problematic for weaker systems.

P4 2.66 Ghz Dell system, 512 RAM
Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics controller.

I'm probably not the only one using a dell with an intel display driver....
