@ localhost www mail vs Aname Cname MX & NS DNS
I never seen this kind of setup.
with directnic, cheapdomains, yahoo domains, & godaddy & a few others ive used, I just set the namerservers/dns to webairs & I add the domain to the server & that's all I need. so, I get 10 more domains from euroDNS, thinking, well, fuck it, they're free, why not. I set the nameservers/dns to webair like always & here it is like 4 days later & nothing!! anyway, in the dns profile they have in addition to the nameservers, @ ip# here localhost ip# here www ip#here mail ip# here I took the ip#s out of the post. I guess this is supposed to be a name c name & MX dns or whatever they're called. Now, here's the question part. Suppose I leave the @ & mail alone because I dont want to use the email for the domain anyway. Now I set local host to the same ip as NS1, and www to NS2, will this work, cuz it seems the ns/dns alone isnt doing it like it's supposed too. Unless european registrars take longer than us ones. I never dealt with any registrars other than the ones mentioned above? |

1) check your DNS here:
http://www.checkdns.net/quickcheck.aspx It will show you everuthing, and often before it evens resolves to your computer. They are in Europe ( Switzerland I think... ) 2) set up your own nameservers, instead of using the ones of webair. This way, you can set your refresh rate to be more often. 3) why the fuck are you loosing time with those useless domains... ![]() ![]() ![]()
