most programs will not get rid of it all the way. I've had to remove it 5 times of customers computers. Def the quickest way is to d/l hijack this and post the log over at geekstogo forum. Someone should reply and help you out. More then likely will create a batch file for you to run that deletes things while it shuts down the service etc.

That's the pain in the ass way going back and forth with log files talking with ultra geeks in those forums. SpySweeper gets rid of WinFixer with the click of a button.

I've ran spysweeper on machines with it and it did not get rid of it. I have seen spybot / adaware remove it also, it just depends how bad you have it. If you are getting the popups about it all the time etc, more then likely, ad-aware, spysweeper, etc will not completely get rid of it. Unless they have came out with a update to do so in the past few weeks. Just from what I've seen anyways.

The latest version 4.5 got rid of it on my son's PC.
