first time I saw him I just didn't understand his humor, but after that I caught on to what he was about and yes he was a very funny guy.

Sam lived near me in Malibu. He was funny as hell, and very LOUD.

But, away from the cameras and the media, he was a kind, quiet man. If you needed help, he was there. He left us too soon, along with Belushi.

one of the greatest. but you had to "get" him.

i smile everytime i think of his routine about the guy who dies and finally gets to meet jesus.

and kinnison gets down on the stage an simulates getting fucked in the ass.

just about the funniest and most off-the-wall bit i've ever seen.

and that guy could really play the piano. lots more to him than people saw.
