Google paying $1 per firefox + google tb install?

    http://www.google.com/support/adsens...topic=0&type=f

you can direct users to sign up for AdSense and monetize their web content, or to download Firefox with Google Toolbar and improve their web browsing experience.

    [...]

earn up to $1 for every new Firefox user.
Really helps to have $3bn in cash reserves I see.

          4. Select the sub-tab of the product you'd like to refer: AdSense or Firefox plus Google Toolbar.
          5. Choose the referral button you'd like to place on your site and copy the code from the box to the left of your selection.
          6. Paste the referral code into the HTML source code of your site.
Supposedly live, but I haven't tested it yet. Anybody have an adsense account? What does the code look like in rendered HTML?

It must burn Google up to see Yahoo tb added to every machine that adds/updates their Flash player.

I had a quick look at it appears I can refer webmasters @$100, but not surfers with firefox @$1. I'm in Australia.

Hmm, I just updated 2 machines and both updates had prechecked boxes for it on the initial install page.

When I updated my player their site said it couldn't detect the best version for my browser(I might have played with my browser header abit much ), and gave a link to the download page.
I might have been able to skip that if I didn't play with my browser headers.
