Need help on picking out a laptop, and to buy online or offline.
I need a good laptop to use for traveling, and to do my business like mostly everyday when i go on trips or to the office. People tell me to get asus, msi, abs, or averatec laptops. All the other kinds like dell, gateway, etc. Are crap. |

I just got a Dell 9300 with a 17" Screen and it's great! Very light compared to my older Toshiba Laptop. I like Toshiba and think they make great laptops though. DH

I am looking at laptops also, need one for traveling and I must be able to do everything that I can do at home. I have researched dell and the sony avaio and while at circuit city yesterday say a new HP lap top with 17in screen. it was awsome, P4 processor, 1300$ ..I have a HP computer that has been really good (had it for a year) so am really considering this laptop, you may want to check it out. Also, its cheaper toget it from circuit city then to get it online from HP

it kills the battery so fast. I just got a new HP ZD8000 P4 hyperthreading with 17" screen... It's heavy as hell, last less than 2 hours for surfing .... I miss my old Dell 14" P3

I had a Toshiba A75 and it died a week after the warrantee ended. I lost everything. I have an HP and it's a dog. I just got a new Alienware Sienta laptop and it's sweet. it was a little pricey, but I don't care. it's bitchen fast and only 4lbs. I'm very happy with it. http://www.alienware.com/product_det...KU-PERFORMANCE

Recently bought a Toshiba M40x laptop and I really like it. I use it now more than my desktop, actually (haven't fired up the desktop in a month). It was around $900Cdn at Bestbuy and has all the features I needed. Its my first experience with a laptop model, so I don't have a comparative basis to say much more. Take yer time comparing features and prices. SilentKnight
