They came together for the Live 8 concert and if after that they don't want to do it there has to be good reasons. They're not short of money but these guys thrive on the adrenalin of 50,000 people applauding them

Cream did it and on the DVD they all indicated it might happen again. Clapton said in the US and Bruce said it would be a shame not to do it again, Baker could not believe it happened at all.

They simply don't need the money. If you watch Live8 Waters seemed to be having a great time but Gilmour has a bit of a forced smile going on. It lookslike things are simply too strained between them to bother.

Shame though. I caught their last concert and I'd pay a LOT of money to see another with or without Waters.

Yep he wrote most of the first Album a few tracks on the second and the singles that appeared on relics. He also released 2 solo albums.
