Depends what the goal is.
For those of us who tried EP once, and were so turned off by the experience that we refused to use it again - perhaps addressing the issues in a public forum would encourage us to try it again?
I have no reason to email Chris with personal info and questions - I just wanted to see answers to valid questions, which might convince me that the problems I (along with tons of other people, as is easily seen in the regular EP threads here) had experienced had been addressed.
I know that I don't have any personal issues to be answered - I thought the system was so screwy, fucked up and difficult to use that I just said screw it. I'd think that if Chris wanted people to "come back" or try EP again, he'd answer the questions rather than say "we're moving to a new building and if you have questions, here's my email."

That's exactly what I would have said if I had had the English skills to say it..

While I won't post my emails, I will certainly tell you that when I email Chris, I am answered. I realize it takes time and I am not the only ePass customer in the world. I have had my questions addressed each time (I've only ever had to email Chris 2 times). Both times I received more than I had expected and was completely happy with the outcome. I think that they are doing an amazing job, granted support could be better and I am sure that with time it will be. Support in most cases everywhere in the world could be better in many different aspects. I can't tell you how many times my cell phone provider or my landline provider or my cable provider could have provided better customer support. Sometimes it just the luck of the draw. You could have stupid Sally one day and smartypants Sam the next...This is the conclusion that I have come to anyway.

He however did give his personal email address to contact him for individual help on matters. Did you want to solve your account problem, or are you just here for the potential drama, like some people seem to be. :2 cents:

Sounds to me as though he provided a personal contact option. An option he seems to deem more practical for a myriad of undisclosed reasons.

In my opinion, his placing his contact information and inviting inquisitions and personal liaisons should suffice as beneficial until he proves otherwise.

Please do not take what I said as insulting you; I honestly was just throwing in my interpretation. I have been wrong before however.

Read this post if mine was not clear enough. I simply won't do a Q&A right now. If you want, email me your questions, all of your questions, and I will publish the answers, however no answers about individual accounts.

If you truly have a problem or issue and you are not just talking shit, email me. Otherwise it starts to look like there are other things going on besides just a curiosity.

So email away....

The transaction history appears to be something you could answer without thinking anyone's "talking shit" or thinking it's about individual accounts. I will however email you to get a response on this.

Look, if you and "a ton of others" really want to ask a bunch of questions I will agree to answer questions one day, week after next (I am in Europe until the 13th), for a couple of hours, as long as you defend me when people post I am spamming the board with ePassporte... Deal? If anyone reading this is interested in my doing this, EMAIL ME. [email protected] and put "answer me" in the subject line. I will have SHaliza with me, plus a Tech, Risk Analyst and Customer Service Rep so that we can answer everything...

I have not used your system, but have been considering it. An open forum with a Q&A session would be wonderful. It will benefit epassporte, and it will definitely benefit prospective customers. Please bring Kimmy Kim Kim with you. :)

We do a ton of business with Epassporte (100k+ a month)

Shaliza is the best and gets every issue sorted out for us. Chris she is definetely a big asset to your company and deserves to be recognized for that :)

Good question, but he won't answer this one either, well maybe just another side step reply. :2 cents:

Listen.. No one is bashing you or ePass.. Simple questions were asked and simple answers would be fine.. Why should we all have to email you with questions that are not personal to any account and concerns everyone..

And why would anyone have to defend you for answering questions?

It just seems to me like it would be good business policy to help out clients..

Well said :2 cents:

I have tried quite a few of the different online payment methods (neteller, paypal, firepay, stormpay) and Ihave to say, ePassporte beats them all!!

Neteller charges a % to send people money that usually comes out a lot higher than the flat fee imposed by ePassporte.

Paypal have all these ridiculous rules about international accounts and their system has had tons of various bugs....least last time I used them which was awhile ago.

The other two, had spam issues and such (esp. Stormpay)

ePassporte is awesome for those of us not living in the US but who come there often... :thumbsup

Now as for this thread, I have the following opinions:

1) Since the questions were general and applied to ALL users, I think it's more efficient to answer them in one place than get the question over and over by email and have to reply to each one....but that's just me.

2) As to why you can't send money from user to a business account, my opinion (and it's only that) is because business accounts get charged fees differently for processing, so they want to collect on those fees. However maybe there is some different reasons, related to legalities or money-laundering ? Who knows :2 cents:

I WANT TO KNOW WHY EPASSPORTE DOES NOT OFFER ACCOUNT TRANSACTION HISTORY.

Why can personal accounts not send money to a business account?

I'm just curious. You have a potentially kick ass product that is seriously lacking in some key areas that seem like they would be very easy to fix. In the past few weeks I've seen alot of epassporte complaints (regarding support etc) and yet no reply from you or your crew. How come?

:thumbsup

I can't believe this shit is on top again...

I have a co-worker who lives in another country. The worker is in a country that most affiliate programs won't even take a payment from out of fear of fraud... Epassporte is the cheapest way for me to pay these kinds of people. Western Union charges me a fucking crazy ass amount. Epassporte? Fucking 25 cents... Case fucking closed. Epassporte is what makes my small business, business model even possible.

Chris M, you have my undying graditude!

3 more of my "more often then not" sponsors just made "the switch" to Epassporte, THANKS GUYS! You are saving me a ton on wire fees...

I just found out that 2 of my favorite local restaurants know how to TAKE EPASSPORTE as payment... I dunno what the fucking deal is... It seems simple enough to me.. Run it like a credit card... where is the "new math" in that? Sweet... Now I can get a little bit more chubby.... hehe... probably not a good thing but KUDO's to Epassporte either way...
