The TopBucks Ad appears to be messing up GFY

Nice try at something different, but at least from the view of my three MACs, GFY appears screwed up (big gray area looms over much of the screen). My preliminary guess is that it is because of the new TopBucks ad.

Please put a techie on it when you get a chance.

Set Active-X to prompt and such annoyances become a thing of the past.

All I see is a discreet security warning message bar at the top with everything else appearing as usual.

p.s. Another benefit of disabling / limiting Active-X is that doing so will greatly reduce the instances of spyware, etc (drive-by downloads) sneaking in.

Yeah, why should the people who run this board give a flying funk that their product is not user friendly - they got their advertiser $$$. Screw the users (who are the reason the advertisers are here in the first place).

I have a better idea...GFY can use me as a lowest common denominator Beta tester for future feature modifications - all I expect in return is a pair of tix for me and a hottie to the Playboy mansion party.

A win-win (shwing) proposition.

I've noticed some improvement since the TopBucks ad is no longer present in my browser, however I still have to scroll down nearly half my screen for my cursor to become active over any links or posting commands.

Seems like someone is on it. <crosses fingers>

Sorry about the earlier rant tone - I had just come back from the local convenience store, and as I walked out there was like 10 cop cars facing the store and police everywhere with guns drawn.

Apparently some of my fellow shoppers were planning a heist. Anyway, that shit scared the bejesus out of me, so I came home in a bad mood and proceeded to get shitty fast.

Well, good luck getting the rest of the halloween gremlins out of GFY.

I expected better from GFY/Adult.com - Yo, this isn't rocket surgery, but it does impact the reputation of your company, so see what you can do.

Whatever you come up with, test it on a Mac too.

TopBucks is stupid for paying GFY for an ad that is making TopBucks look bad since it is screwing the site for many users.

Arrgh, sorry to hear that there are still some issues in certain browsers, hopefully they can get it fixed at least not just for our ad, but for future advertisers. I'm sure any info you send them on your browser & flash player versions would be helpful for them.
