When I was in the Navy, we did drug interdiction in the Caribbean. We caught a big ship with oh I forget maybe 20 bales of weed on board.
Guess what happened? We took the crew prisoner and towed the ship to their home port in Santo Domingo. There we set the crew free and return the vessel. Most likely the smugglers were back at it the next day. It is just a temporary fix.
Did you know that coke is often poured into an gas tank on board the ship? When the ship gets to port, the gas is evaporated and the coke extracted back out. Yum!Comment
