Im a vegetarian (former vegan)... but i never tell anyone else what they can or can't eat... I think the protesters are more like animal rights activists then vegetarians. Most vegetarians really don't go around tellin people what or what not to eat.

honestly? I think you're doing your body harm not having the proper nutrients... we ARE Omnivores, which means we require BOTH meat and vegetables. But I'm not going to tell you that you gotta eat meat.

You (and him) were right ... it's the few shitty apples that fuck it up for the bunch. But I'll tell you what the next time some fuckin vegan (this has actually happened to me) tries to change my god damned order at dinner to a Tofu plate, I'm gonna knock their ass into the middle of next week... and will probably post the same thing again =)

I think you also have to take into account you're in seattle where there are many a protester just lookin for a cause..

I don't mean anything against you.. but WHY are you trying to convert us? don't you think we're happy with our meat? You don't see us meat-eaters out trying to convert vegetarians... this is exactly the reason I started the thread.

Organizing events is fun work. Writing the press releases, recruiting volunteers, getting donations. I'm sure the local punk circuit would be quite happy to help and bands are always looking for an excuse to get exposure.
