Domainsbyproxy.com & an IDIOT I want to destroy

May it never be said that the true French haven't mastered the art of how to hide. Here is my problem... I want to go legal all over an asshole and his site. (Let's just leave it at that.) I figure a good place to start is his "WHOIS" information. But suprise.. surprise.. The JackAss has his site registered with one of those proxy registrars. So... 1) How do I find out who the turd is? and since he is using his site to circumnavigate French Laws and many other bad and not so nice things. So... 2) How do I go about ICANN (Or whoever I need to talk to) about re-voking his domain registration? (I figure if all else fails getting his domain suspended or revoked will flush the little shit out.) 3) If I can't do the above... DO I have any other options? |

If you have a legal case have your lawyer send a letter to the registrar. That is the first step.

But suffice to say my home address has been posted. And a letter to the registrar. Good place to start. |

Call DBP up and explain situation, ask for their advice on what steps to take... they will help. Then ask for DBP address to mail your lawyers letter to. DBP usually folds right away and gives up info on domain owner and sometimes immediately disables their proxy service... sometimes. Good luck. I've down it before successfully, but I had lots of ammo against the infringer and DBP didn't want to get involved so they took the necessary action. . |

They have to pass thorugh certified mail / legal correspondence

So, get a lawyer, and have them send a strongly worded mail. Godaddy actually opens and reads all the mail... read domainsbyproxy statement and you will see this yourself. domc--- now..domainers sell me your domains with traffic!
