Big Ben will be silent
This weeked Big Ben will under go routine maintenance. The first time in 20 years.
The clock is known for it's accuracy and remains within 1.5 seconds of GMT. It also survived dozens of attacks from Germans during WWII. And on a slightly related story, To mark the event Elton John is going to re-write his song. "A Candle in the wind". The new song will be called, "A clock wound-up in the wind."
